Inaugurated on September 1st, 2007, this is one of the most important cultural venues in Latin America, it is managed by the University of Guadalajara with the aim to promote the development of the University Cultural Center. Its architectural style is the result of the work of the Mexican architect José de Arimatea Moyao. It has the capacity to accommodate from 2,658 to 9,643 people in the auditorium and the stage. (It features 29 seats reserved for people with disabilities less than 64 meters from the stage). The parking lot can accommodate up to 3,000 cars.
The auditorium has three mechanical platforms and the orchestra pit, six fixed food stations, as well as ramps, elevators, wardrobes, toilets and much more.
The most convenient routes to the Telmex Auditorium are Periferico Norte and Laureles Avenue.
